On Christmas Eve we enjoyed a candlelit living room and dinner from California Pizza Kitchen. Vijay and Vineetha opened their gifts from Uncle Aaron on Christmas morning.

I'm recovering well, although a little slower than the last two C-sections. I've found that breech baby C-sections have much easier recovery than normal babies. But overall, God has blessed me with a good recovery and a healthy baby.

We started a new tradition this year: opening gifts on New Year's Day! The kiddos opened their gifts from their Nana and Grampa on New Year's morning. Daddy was more excited about the quilt that Nana made out of his old Star Wars sheets for Vijay. This is truly a multi-generational gift: the sheets were a Christmas gift to Cameron from his mom's mom many years ago (or is that, "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away....). Thank you, Nana(s)!
Here is Vineetha showing off her cute outfit that Nana made for her. It fit her so well and she looked adorable in it. We are finally getting some pictures of Tirzah with her eyes open. And here is Vijay enjoying his new quilt from Nana (Daddy went to check on the kids at 3 AM today and found his quilt and blanket in the hamper. Crazy boy!)

Tirzah looks like your other kids with her eyes open. There's still something about her that reminds me of my little one in her sleepy pictures, though. :o)
