My nephew Ransom James Oguri was born at 3:43 am on Fri, Feb 5, 2010. Ransom weighed 7 lbs., 7 oz., and was 20.5 in. long. We are looking forward to meeting him in about three months, Lord willing. Here is my brother Jayakar holding Ransom; for more pictures, check out their blog.

Here are the kids on a fun Sunday afternoon at church and later at home. Vijay is a happy two-and-a-half-year-old who loves to play with sticks. He often walks around the house with some kind of a stick (or anything long) waving it around. He puts his puzzles together pretty fast and still loves to swing in our broken-down infant swing. He talks a lot with his sister but only the two of them understand each other. Vineetha is full of smiles and talks a lot to everyone (babbles). She is an expert climber like her brother, perhaps even more so. One of her favorite things to do is to blow us kisses. She loves to eat mostly anything and she finally is getting two more teeth on the bottom (a premolar is also poking through slowly). So, she currently has 8 teeth total. She will be 18 months on the 30th of this month and she is our delight.

She weighed in at 9 lbs., 15 oz. (25%), measured 22.5" long (60%) and 38 cms. around the head (25%). She got three shots but cried only for a very short time. She loves to stand on her feet if we hold her upper body. At the time of her exam, she was still waking up at least once each night. We got hit by colds and she didn't recover as quickly as the older two did, which totally threw her off-schedule and it took us awhile to get back into a routine. But overall, she eats, plays and sleeps pretty well and brings us all lots of joy.

It doesn't look like this anymore b'cos we already changed it around and added another crib so that Tirzah can join them in the near future. Tirzah sleeps in the Pack 'n Play in our room for now and she has been a pretty good sleeper.

What a sweet photo of Naomi and Tirzah! And those Sunday pictures are just too cute! I think that was a Sunday that we were sick, but my mom wasn't and so she went to church by herself. When she came home from church she was telling me about how your kids were dressed in the cutest outfits and that Vijay was in Indian outfit. Very fun. :-) Vineetha looks like quite the model in those pics.
Tirzah has such big pretty eyes. Lauren is also liking to stand on her feet. I don't remember Katie enjoying it as much as Lauren is at this age.
Oh, and I love the color of curtains in the kids' room.

Their bedroom looks nice and roomy for them. What a blessing!
Also, I think Ransom looks SO much like Vijay when he was a little baby! Do you think so too?
Thanks for all your pics and comments too! Love seeing Naomi's belly and knowing her boys name-when is due? We're coming to CA in Aug so 5 kids later we can finally have a playdate!
The kids's room looks nice and spacious. What will you do with your third bedroom if all three are in one room? An office or playroom?
