We enjoyed an evening with Ethan and Lisa at their home. They have a very spacious apartment and Vijay enjoyed crawling around while we enjoyed chatting away and catching up.
Just a cute picture of Vijay on the 7th at church. This was the first day he drank water out of sippy cup and we also turned his car seat facing forward.
K.C., Angie and Katie visited us again and we enjoyed an evening together. Cute Katie!
My cousin Nazarene and her husband Craig along with their four children went to Disneyland to celebrate Craig's 50th birthday. They dropped off my aunt (my mom's sister) on their way and I got to enjoy spending time with her along with her delicious Indian cooking.
We celebrated Vijay's first birthday with a few friends. Vijay wasn't too interested in eating his cake but he managed to squish it and play with it. It was fun to see the little ones together. Vijay loves to crawl or cruise around these days. He is very quick to notice when the bathroom door is open and goes in there as fast as he can. He also loves to touch the TV screen and test if we are watching him or not. He is also drinking water out of his sippy cup and transitioning into drinking regular milk. He even ate some lemon rice and chicken last Friday [August 19th]. Vijay's One-Year stats as of Sep 23 are: Weight: 24 lbs. 7 oz. (75%); Height: 32 1/4" (97%); Head Circ. 18 3/4 (90%)
And finally, an update about my pregnancy. Some of you know that I'm scheduled for a C-Section this Friday the 26th at 12:30 pm. It looks like doctors don't like the risk of going into labor and then having to do an emergency C-Section. So if God wills our next blog post will be pictures of our new little Indian Savage.

Wow- I didn't realize that you were going to be a mother of two so quickly! Time has really flown by!! Congratulations on this first year milestone of parenting, . . . and God's grace and peace abound to you as you begin to prepare for another new arrival!! I will be excited to see the pictures.
:) Ezekiel does the same thing when he sees the bathroom door open. i'm so sad to miss Vijay's 1st birthday, and the arrival of your second baby.

WOW, Vijay weighs more than Caleb, too. He is same highth as Vijay, but his weigs is 19lbs 9oz. Vijay will soon lose some pounds b/c he will start walking soon:)
