We enjoyed another couple of days of camping from the 15th to the 17th with the Steinmeyers just after Cameron finished working at his last job . It was a nice break to get away. It wasn't as much fun to be camping and being pregnant. :( Thankfully Vijay slept pretty good but both Cameron and I had lot of trouble sleeping for some reason. Overall, we enjoyed our time with the Steinmeyers, especially the last night when we stayed up late talking around the campfire.
Our late night with the Steinmeyers and beautiful Rock Creek lake! Thank you Steinmeyers for inviting us!
Vijay at my doctor's visit
Now to my pregnancy update: My baby is officially a breach as of the last ultrasound on August 19. The doctor told me to drink lots of fluids and stay out of the heat. The baby is 3lbs and 12oz but I feel heavy and huge. After getting over my initial disappointment, I have been preparing myself for a C-section again and I'm thankful for God's plan for our family.
We enjoyed an evening at Castaic Lake Park during Cameron's week off between his jobs on the 22nd. It was a beautiful evening and the sun was just setting. We ate our dinner there and just enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Here Vijay is giving Daddy a massage.
Rebecca and I with our little ones at church on the 24th
Vijay and I enjoyed a visit from Betty Price on the 26th.
Anita graciously offered to babysit Vijay for a couple of hours while Cameron and I went out to eat at Black Angus on the 29th. Thank you, Anita!
Vijay crawling and cruising on the 31st
Vijay sat up on his own in his crib a month ago. We were surprised to see him sitting there and playing in his crib in the morning. From then on he began more frequently to pull himself to a sitting position wherever he was and then up to a standing position in his crib or to the table. We were totally expecting him to skip crawling but he has even started to crawl. Now he usually cruises around the coffee table or anything that he can pull himself up on (or transfer to from whatever he pulled himself up on). It all happened in one week after we came back from camping. Now when we put him down for his naps or for the night, he just gets up and keeps playing until he crashes. Those who have held Vijay know that he is not at all a cuddly boy. He has always been so stiff and refuses to cuddle. But with all the changes recently, he is more likely to cuddle on our shoulders when he is tired. We are enjoying this phase along with all its challenges. The word 'No' has become very common in this household.

KC and Angie had us over for dinner and Vijay and Katie got to spend little bit more time with each other. Katie is adorable!
Vijay, Luke and Karis. It was fun to see them interact and play and also to see them at different stages of their growth.

Hey there Joanna - remember me? Crystal Barber? Lazenby now :) I have visited (and maybe even commented before) on your blog a couple of times - look at you! Congrats on your babies :) Good to see you!
I enjoyed your update. I love the picture of you and Vijay from camping. He looks all snuggly and just so cute! :-) Oh, and the shirt "Little Dribbler"...ha ha. :-) Looking forward to our visit this week!
I never sleep well when I camp, so I can imagine how hard it was for you.
God is good. I am glad that you are where there is good medical care so that difficult pregnancy situations can still have happy endings!
Looks like you guys are having great fun! It is amazing to see your little guy grow. Your belly is on the move too. :) I hope you are feeling good. Love ya Stacie
Praying for you Jo, as you enter your last month! (did it really go that fast??, at least from my perspective :)).
I am glad that the Lord is giving you peace about delivery, whichever way it may go!
