I called my parents this morning and my little niece picked up so we got to chat with both my nephew Joel and niece Grace. Uncle Cameron taught them 'Holy Holy Holy' when he was in India and they like to sing it for us everytime we call them. Now it has become 'uncle song'. Gracie will ask for it every night before she goes to bed. We miss them very much. The picture above is when Cameron taught them the song at my parent's home (from right: Joel, Gracie and Bunny-neighbhour's boy).
My mom is doing very well. My parents even flew for the first time to attend my cousin Vijay's wedding in Hyderabad. She is very excited at the possibility of visiting us in the near future.

It's cute that Cameron has something special as an uncle already - even though he's far away. That's a good way for them to remember him! Also, it's great that your parents flew on a shorter trip for their first flight - I'm sure that helps ease the comfort level for first-time flyers. :)

Being a parent is so amazing. It is truly one of those experiences that you cannot prepare for or even consider understanding until you're in the thick of it. The love God enables both Mother and Father is miraculous.
