Flowers

Amma loved flowers and took great care of plants. She was so excited about a new bud and asked someone to take a picture with a new flower that bloomed. The rose bush was in full bloom when my Amma died and it brought fresh tears as I enjoyed the beauty of those roses saddened by the fact that she will never see it. Some of our friends sent flowers and looking at those beautiful flowers around the house helped me to share the joy that my Amma enjoyed even as I grieved her absence. I'm so thankful for encouraging cards, meals, frozen yoghurt, child care and lots of hugs and prayers from dear friends during that time. God saw your work of love and your reward is in heaven. THANK YOU! It meant a LOT to me.
