Cameron was very excited to receive as a birthday present this baseball jersey from his parents. This picture is a proof that he can be a goof ball :) I love my cute husband! This new year in his life has already brought a big change for him. He will be starting a new job in two weeks and we are excited about it. This means that we will be in the area for awhile longer.



My brother Sam is here in the US on a business trip and we met him at the airport when he arrived on the 13th. It took a few hours for Vijay to get used to his Uncle but now he enjoys hanging out with him, especially because he lets him touch his computer.





For Father's Day, we kept up with last year's tradition and took some family portraits at JC Penney. Here are our favourite ones.

We finally remembered to take a picture of the Casebolts when they last visited us. They have visited us a few times but I never remembered to take a picture. Thank you, Kristin for the yummy Key Lime pie!



We had a busy Saturday night when we took Sam bowling. The Parkinson family and Mark joined us and we enjoyed pizza and hot wings for dinner. It was helpful to have an extra hand to hold our little ones while we took turns to bowl. Then everyone came to our home and we played a bit of Settlers of Catan.



My friend Missy came to attend Dr. Halstead's wedding and stayed with us for the weekend. We enjoyed time together just chatting and catching up. We also watched 'Slum Dog Millionare' and ate spicy Indian food.



Vineetha at her 9 month visit to the doctor. She weighs 17 lbs., 8 oz. (30%), she is 27. 5" tall (50%), and her head circumference is 44cm (50%). She felt pretty warm when I held her in the doctor's office but I just assumed it was the heat from traveling in our non-AC car. The nurse registered a low fever and checked after a few minutes and it was still the same. Then, when the doctor was making his routine check up, he that found her throat was red. I explained how Vijay had a fever few days ago and how he limped for three days. He immediately diagnosed it as Herpangina, a common viral infection among babies and toddlers. In rare cases, it does cause limping. I was quite relieved to hear it. He said it should go away on its own and it sure did. Both of them had a cold for few days after but they are doing fine now. Vineetha didn't sleep very well b'cos of the cold and ended up in our bed and slept the whole night between us. Above is the cute sleeping cuteness. We thoroughly enjoy her and she never stops delighting us. She is eating solid food well and I started to give her formula in the evenings. Vijay and Vineetha enjoy playing together and communicate by laughing back and forth or blabbering to each other. She is also getting so close to crawling. No teeth yet though.
