For those of you who are "in the know" about all things Indian (hint: and by extension some things British), see if you recognize the ball that we are throwing around.
And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit. 2 Cor. 3:18

Growth
Vijay is beginning to say words now, although not consistently. The first word he ever said was 'Amen' as we finished praying with him before he went to sleep. It has been at least couple of months since he first said it. Recently he said 'Daddy,' 'Vijay,' and 'Duck' at least once. Last week while I was laying on the couch, he walked over and gave me a kiss on my cheek, and then a couple of days ago, he was all cuddly with Daddy and even gave him a kiss (note from Daddy: it was more a lick than a kiss :P ). Yesterday we put him on the couch with all his books and he sat there and actually showed interest in them throughout the time we ate dinner. And finally, here is a video of his walking skills. We took it on Jan 21st and he was 16 months old, and to be sure, he has improved since then, but this a cute example.

I hadn't read your side note below yet, and was already thinking...hmmm...is that a cricket ball? Nice. And such a cute video. :-) (Oh, and by the way, this is Mrs. Horse...I just saw I was logged in the the other account, but too lazy to change. ;-))
Lick than a kiss :P hahaha, that is so funny:) Isn't it so fun how they start talking:) Thank you for posting the video, so cute:)
I would say that was a cricket ball. He is so cute toddlin' around. I am sure you are chasing him by now. That doesn't take long once they figure out the walking part. Love you guys.
The 'ball' looked like an apple to me. :)
Great job walking Vijay; I'm sure life is so much more interesting now for him.
It's such fun to see him walking! I bet you are busy, Jo! Thanks for posting the video-maybe we'll get to see you all in person in the near future? We love you all!
