Here is Vijay with his new rocking horse and Red Sox outfit courtesy of Grampa & Nana Savage (thanks Mom & Dad!) and also playing with his friend Caleb.
Vijay has changed quite a bit in the last month. He plays with his toys differently and tries to figure out the little details. He still puts stuff in his mouth but that has decreased considerably. He talks quite a bit but no specific words yet. He still hates the "moo" sound of a cow from one of his toys but he still plays with that toy and doesn't cry as often as he used to. He gets into everything these days. He is tall enough to get to grab things from the kitchen counter and we need to be careful not to leave things that are dangerous there. He is also looking at his books more often now instead of just putting them in his mouth. He loves to go outside and cries every time the door is closed behind him, so Daddy takes him with him at every possible opportunity.
Here are the "Big Brother" and "Little Sister" as denoted by their complementary shirts supplied by Cameron's Nana & Grampa Brown.
Angie bought that cute purple outfit for Vineetha when she was born. She bought one for Katie at the same time and now that both of them have (mostly :P) grown into their outfits, we did a photo shoot together at our place...Dads and Moms with their girls. Vijay was taking a nap so he missed out.

The sister and brother shirts are so cute! I love how in the one picture Vineetha is leaning on her big brother's shoulder for support. So fun. :-)
Those are some cute shirts. There is nothing quite like a toddler to keep you on your toes and remind you how many things in your home are NOT baby proof. :) The purple is so cute. Katrina would love it. She's a purple gal too.
Thanks for the update and pictures, Jo! We really enjoy seeing how our grandchildren have grown and changed. Vineetha's hair reminds me of the "bouffaunt" (sp?) or "beehive" style that was popular in the sixties! :-) Vijay looks like he has almost outgrown the horse already!
I love the sister and brother shirts:) Where did you guys get those:) So fun Katie and Vineetha dressed same outfit:)
Ah, yes, we have to be careful too what we leave on the counter and how close to the edge. Jaida always brings her mini chair over pretending to cook at the stove, wash dishes in the sink, etc...
The kids look great, growing fast and learning quickly.
