We reached safe here last night and Vijay did great during the entire time. He ate, slept and even played on the pull-out tray (on the plane) after we covered it with few blankets. Vijay slept through the night too...maybe his schedule won't get messed up!
It is like looking at Christmas cards here...very beautiful...think Currier & Ives Christmas paintings. White snow every where and it is supposed to snow more tonight. It is very warm in the house though. Mom and Dad gave us their bedroom so we are enjoying the view from the window...they even bought Vijay a Pack-n-Play and he has his own little room in the closet. Mom even bought me a nice long jacket so I'm set for this snowy Christmas.
We went around to do some shopping today with Mom and then enjoyed "lunch" at Dunkin Donuts. I think we stretched Vijay a little too far on his feeding time, but now we're back home waiting for dinner...garlic shrimp...yum-yum-yummy!

Glad you're enjoying your trip! Yes, it would be fun to hop up to see you, but I don't think I would have time. I have one of those jobs where we are only closed two days every year - Thanksgiving and Christmas (and this year was the first that we were closed on Thanksgiving, even), and vacation has always been done by seniority, so there's pretty much no way I can get time off around holidays right now. It's a bummer, for sure. Looks like my family might be converging back home in California in April (from Northern CA and North Carolina - I am also in one of those families spread out everywhere), so if I can go out then I would like to arrange to head to the Santa Clarita area for a day. We shall see!
I admire you for traveling when Vijay is so young. I'd love to hop on a plane now. I'm positive Jadia would do well since she loves crowds.
Hmm, garlic shrimp does sounds delicious.
